You know that feeling. Monday morning rolls around and you can't even get out of bed. You think, "Why me...can't I just sleep in a little longer..errrg." We all know this feeling all too well and yet we get up and start our Mondays off to a bad start! We have this mindset of "I'm going to have a crapy day today because Mondays are horrible." We love to do this to ourselves for some reason, thinking others will feel the same way. Today I had that day...it was that Monday.
You see I'm really wanting to start my business and go full speed ahead 150%, however I realize that if I have a poor mindset of how my day will be regardless of my situation, current job etc, then my whole day will be ruined. Now I'm not saying you can't have a bad day or even a bad start to your week, I mean it happens. But these are the things I do to start my days off right:
- Take A Deep Breath In
- Get out of bed
- Exercise (some do this you don't have to but it's a great start to any day)
- DRINK COFFEE!! LOTS OF IT!! :-)
You will notice the fourth point is big and bold, that's because for some reason a nice cup of joe is all you need to get your day kickstarted in the right direction. You may say, "I'm not a coffee drinker." Okay, so do the third point. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress and just make your day go better. Don't believe me try it! All in all I still stand by my points.
So sit back, breathe in, and sip that delicious cup of coffee!
