Had a great meeting with a client today and I say that, because really what we do as experts in our own right for those in our community, is provide the best service we can, as well as build that relationship, even if it doesn't go the way we want. Mostly my meetings like today go amazingly great, but there are times where it doesn't and here are3 tips to make your meetings better:
1.) Be Yourself- don't try and act like you know the answer to everything, because I can assure you don't. Be real, be authentic.
*2.) Be On Time- that's huge! Always no matter who your client is, be at least 15-30 minutes early. It's better to be early than to be running in with your head cutoff, been there done that before. Love being early.
*3.) Be Thankful- This can go many ways, however what I mean by this is really and authentically, thank your client/potential client for their time and let them know if they need anything to let you know.
Not a lot of tips, but these 3 I found to be a BIG must and has proven to be my success with landing any client even in the future.
What are you tips to landing the client or keeping the relationship long after the "client" honeymoon is over?
